Civil

  • Advised a Chemicals manufacturer in a vendor dispute in relation to outstanding payments under supply contracts.
  • Represented a Bank from Kuwait in a suit for recovery of money before Delhi High Court.
  • Assisted a Canadian company in execution of foreign decree from a Canadian Court in India.
  • Advised an American education equipment manufacturer in relation to breach of reseller agreement by domestic agents.
  • Represented a publishing house in commercial disputes involving recovery of money from clients.
  • Represented a multinational bidder in a tender matter involving e-bidding for a government construction project.
  • Represented a pharmaceutical manufacturing company before the Allahabad High Court in Writ Petitions relating to drug pricing.

Service & Labour

  • Argued a matter involving promotion of reserved category Income Tax Inspectors to the position of ITO against unreserved vacancies.
  • Advised and negotiated on behalf of one of the largest FMCG multinational in relation to removal of a senior management employee.
  • Represented a multinational offshore drilling company in a criminal proceeding arising out of defalcation of money by the company's employees and before labour courts in relation to labour disputes.
  • Represented an American multinational before the Calcutta High Court in relation to disputes for termination of services of managing–director.
  • Represented a hydro power GENCO in dispute with the labour authorities in a matter involving interpretation of legal provisions regarding application of labour laws.

Constitutional

  • Represented an Electricity Distribution Licensee of Delhi in the matter before the Supreme Court of India challenging the constitutional vires of the Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Fund Cess Act.
  • Represented various schools and education forums before the Supreme Court of India challenging the constitutional vires of the Right to Education Act.

Education

  • Advisor to the Manavsthali and Bhatnagar group of schools on various local and national education issues.
  • Advisor to Forum for Promotion of Quality Education for All, an organization representing collective action on behalf of top educational institutions in Delhi/NCR.
  • Represented SRSD Senior Secondary School in writ against directorate of education from taking over the school.

Criminal

  • Represented a multinational offshore drilling company in a criminal proceeding arising out of defalcation of money by the company's employees
  • Represented and advised European building systems manufacturer in various criminal matters involving dishonor of cheques by clients defaulting in payments.
  • Represented and advised a major IT classified service provider in various criminal matters involving issues of fraud, cheating and offences under the IT Act
